Bibliography of Works by Sylvia Plath

In Sylvia Plath's lifetime, she published only two books: The Colossus in 1960 and The Bell Jar, under the pseudonym Victoria Lucas, in 1963, both through Heinemann in London. Plath saw The Colossus published in America, too, though with a different table of contents (fewer poems), in 1962 through Knopf. To quote Ted Hughes, "the rest is posthumous." If you are looking for a list of poems, stories, and articles written by Plath, please visit the Works Index page. If you are looking for a list of Plath poems, stories, and articles Plath published in magazines and journals, please see the Periodicals Publication page.
